The MF-102S Ring Modulator is a re-invention of Moog Music’s classic Moogerfooger MF-102 analog effects pedal. Introduced in 1998, the MF-102 Ring Modulator featured a Ring Modulator, a voltage-controlled Carrier Oscillator, and a voltage-controlled dual-waveform Low Frequency Oscillator (LFO) within its design. Crafted by Bob Moog and his engineering team, this pedal was a direct legacy of the original Moog modular synthesizers, tailored to manipulate and explore inputs from various sources like guitar, voice, synthesizer, or any other audio input.
The MF-102 Ring Modulator has been faithfully recreated as the MF-102S, preserving not only the vintage-futuristic sounds of its predecessor but also the harmonious way in which its settings harmonize to deliver a musical performance.
The MF-102S is an AUv3 effects plug-in that necessitates a compatible host or DAW for operation.
